Nida Sami Kidwai grew up with Chikankari woven into the fabric of her identity – the delicate threadwork draped across celebrations, whispered into heirlooms, passed down without ceremony because it simply always was. When she arrived in Dubai, she found a city of extraordinary elegance, yet one place where that elegance felt incomplete: there was no home for authentic, luxury Lucknowi Chikankari.
Fiza Chikan was her answer. In October 2021, Nida founded the brand with a singular conviction – that the world’s most refined embroidery deserved a stage worthy of it. Not mass-produced. Not compromised. But couture, in the truest sense of the word.

Chikankari is not embroidery. It is a language — one spoken in 32 distinct stitches, in hours of patient silence, in the calloused hands of master karigar families who have perfected their craft across generations in the narrow lanes of Lucknow, India.
At Fiza Chikan, every piece begins in those lanes. We work directly with artisan families and trusted partners in Lucknow, ensuring that the hands that create our garments are honoured, fairly treated, and given the space to do their finest work. From sourcing the finest fabrics to the last finishing stitch — nothing is rushed, and nothing is shortcut.
